The ICAE certification is the premier mark of professional accomplishment for those in the attractions industry, and is a coveted recognition amongst his peers. Wilson earned this honor for his combination of achievements, including decades of demonstrated service to the industry, continued leadership of his organization, and his commitment to professional training, development and advancement.

“I am thrilled to receive the highest certification IAAPA has to offer,” Wilson says. “I have committed over half of my life to growing and cultivating the attractions industry, and it has been my dream career as I get to create, implement and test all of our strategies in an exciting market. I am honored to be affiliated with an elite group of individuals who share this certification.”

Wilson has the privilege of working with his best friend and creator of Extreme Engineering, his father Jeff. His passion for the industry started back in high school where he worked part time for the family business and had the opportunity to experience the complete Extreme Engineering business cycle, from manufacturing, to selling and operating.

Today, as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Wilson manages a team of full-and part-time sales representatives and leads all intellectual property endeavors, including trademark filing, brand creation and product placement. He also spearheads product design, public relations and manages mass and social media efforts.

Along with Wilson’s recent honor, Extreme Engineering is the first company in amusement history to earn the unprecedented honor of achieving “Best New Product” 5 years in a row and 10 industry awards from several leading industries. Wilson has been a member of IAAPA for over 15 years, serving on the marketing committee, space allocation, M&S task force and service awards committee, and was recently honored as an IAAPA “Featured Member” (http://www.iaapa.org/about-iaapa/featured-member).
