Jeff Hunnewell started working part time for Extreme Engineering in 2009. He started doing service work on the East Coast as needed. Jeff started out in the amusement industry for a local company in 1998, at that point he developed a passion for the equipment and making the best possible experience for the customer. As Extreme has grown and progressed so has Jeff and his role, he has now become the Senior Field Tech and is very hands on and dedicated. His past experience as an FEC owner/operator, construction owner, certified welder, certified rigger, certified amusement ride inspector and arborist have well equipped him to handle all tasks needed in the field. Jeff aka “The Honey Badger” has a unique flare for getting the job done regardless of the obstacles at hand. To think of what is involved in such a profession, such as flying thousands of miles, carrying your tools in boxes fit for aircraft travel, to be able to successfully install rock walls, zip lines, cloud coasters and whatever else exciting might be coming down from the engineering team is no easy task. Jeff has earned a reputation in this field like no other, there are many that specifically request him and prefer to have them handle their facility. His integrity is the best in the business. When Jeff isn’t jet setting across the World, he enjoys being home with his family, three boys and his long time girlfriend Kelly. A family passion is obstacle course racing, traveling for Extreme and learning how to travel most efficiently has made this such a great family bonding experience. He also enjoys hiking and camping.
