Extreme Engineering’s exciting Cloud Coaster project, at Vinpearl Land in Phu Quoc, also known to locals as VinWonders Phu Quoc, is now open. This is Extreme Engineering’s first suspended family roller coaster to open in Vietnam. The official announcement of the project was revealed at the 2019 IAAPA Expo in Orlando Florida. The final commissioning of the ride took place later in 2020, with official operation just in time for Vinpearl Land’s grand opening around May of this year.

Vinpearl’s Cloud Coaster attraction immerses guests through a dense, tropical jungle. Large sculptures of tropical birds are placed around the ride. Guests are lifted high above the ground to fly amongst the birds. Cloud Coaster riders experience the true sensation of flight, gliding on a very smooth and quiet suspended roller coaster. The track, at 400 linear feet (122 meters) long, gives riders of all ages a fun experience and birds-eye view of iconic landmarks within the park.

Extreme Engineering will also be completing its next Cloud Coaster project in Qatar during the end of 2020, with two massive family suspended roller coaster projects in the works for 2021. The family-friendly suspended roller coaster was inducted into the Roller Coaster Database, www.rcdb.com, joining other suppliers across the globe.
