Growing up his entire life in Orlando, Florida, Kris Benken started at a very early age in the resort industry. Mr. Benken worked alongside his father operating revenue sharing attractions, and various rental kiosks, at several lakeside resorts. Kris also graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Business Management. As a residence of Orlando, Kris has had the opportunity to work in the hospitality industry, gaining extensive knowledge in world-class customer service. Mr. Benken has managed various amusement attractions, including safety training as well as hospitality training, at Bluegreen, Marriott, Sheraton, Scott Properties and Westgate Resorts. Kris has a long history in service sales, always making guest experience a number one priority. Today, Kris is the Director of Sales and Operations, overseeing resort sales and assisting in project planning. When Kris isn’t working with resorts, he’s relaxing at one. Kris loves kicking back at a nice poolside bar and hitting up soccer Lions matches, Orlando’s official MLS team. He also loves baseball, with his favorite team being the Atlanta Braves. Kris loves a good Old Fashion in one hand and a craft burger in the other. If you can’t find Kris walking the streets of downtown Orlando it’s probably because he snuck into the latest, hidden speak easy.
